Tow mirror arm repair

Hey guys, this morning i got out to my truck to head into work and noticed half way in that my mirror was folded back in to the truck, so i pushed it back out at a red light and noticed it wouldnt lock in. I figured it was only ice but after taking it apart and inside to warm up (and disassemble) i realized it was broken. I was wondering if anyones ever succesfully repaired this. To be clear its the arm hinge itself closest to the door that is sloppy, wont lock and just loose in general. When i took it apart it looked like the hinge was sealed in and no way to get access too but hopefully someone knows better than me. Thanks guys!

Looks the same, do you know if there is a way to fix the sloppy arm or are you trying to sell that one?

If you need one they are relatively cheap on line. If you find one you want and it doesn't have the "ambient temp sensor" take the one out of your old mirror.
