do you have to remove the door panel or just the top corner piece to change out the mirrors. I am swapping my express mirrors for the non painted sport mirrors so i can paint to match for my truck. is this something I should be able to do easily?

I had to remove my door panels to unplug the tow mirrors and plug the sport mirrors in. I'm assuming the mirrors you are getting will have the wires attached so you will have to tuck them away behind the door panel. if you have no wires to deal with you can just take the top triangle panel off

You have to remove the door panel to change them out. The harness on the mirrors plugs in the door about half way down so you have to take the door panel off to unplug/plug the new mirrors in.

Yupp you have to take off the door panel to connect the mirrors cause the power mirror switches and all that. I got quoted $100 for a dealer to swap mine to tow mirrors and reflash for the turn signals so it'll be the same on yours except expresses can't reflash for turn signals I believe
