Hey Friends, I own a 2018 Ram 1500, Reg Cab, 4x2, 5.7L Hemi, 3.92 gear ratio, standard bed with a class 4 hitch. According to the published Trailer Life Tow Guide in a previous post and other official RAM sites, my truck's towing capacity is 5,030lbs. This is a lot less than similar RAM trucks of the same configuration; the only exception being the trim package: Big Horn or Tradesman, etc. Any idea why? I've also observed the Power Wagon has a lower towing capacity...Appreciate any insight you might have?
