How much payload do you have left over after you, your family, pets, a full tank of gas and your stuff are loaded in the truck? Then subtract for the hitch and stabilizer bars. Figure that as 13% of the GVWR for the trailer and you will be about at the theoretical max trailer you can tow. Then factor in a safety margin which will reduce the weight a bit. Ignore the dry weight of the trailer.

Load up like your going camping and scale it. That will get you started. Figure the camper from there.

I have never seen a door sticker that listed towing capacity.

As the others have said. Your payload is going to be the limiting factor. You need to weigh your truck. Everything you add to the truck including accessories, cargo, passengers, and hitch take away from your payload. A full tank of gas is already figured in to your payload. You don't need to deduct that weight.

Also the tongue weight of the trailers usually include empty propane bottles unless otherwise stated in their brochure.
Add 100 lbs to their advertised tongue weight because of 40 lbs or 60 lbs of propane and a battery (about 60 lbs).

A real life example: The dry tongue weight on my trailer is 720 lbs. The day I took it home (empty) but with 2 full 30 lb propane tanks and a battery it was 850 lbs. Loaded for camping it's between 950 lbs and 1000 lbs. After all is said and done I have 1300 lbs of available payload. I weighed my truck with a full tank of gas and my hitch installed. My sticker says 1800 lbs. So I'm under my payload by 300 lbs.

Now to answer your question your tow rating will probably be between 7000 lbs and 9000 lbs because of your 3.21 rear. Consult a towing chart with your exact truck configuration. Ignore the charts that say over 10,000 lbs. That's for a 3.92 rear.

Agree on all the above. Tow capacity is almost a moot point because 9 times out of 10 you exceed payload on a camper long before you reach the max tow capacity. Payload and rear axle ratings are the 2 most important numbers.
