So…the tires went on Thursday. I bounced back and forth between the 285/55 and 275/65 but in the end, went with the lighter, cheaper and taller 275/65. I wish that size was available in the "extreme" pattern..but oh well.
Either way, they went on well and loo great. I got a good amount of warning about going to a 10-ply but honestly, I really cannot tell the difference in ride quality. They do make a small amount of road noise vs stock but compared to the MT tires some of my friends run, these are down right quiet. Fit wise, I wondered if getting a 1" taller tire would rub on stock suspension…but it does not.
All-in-all they ride extremely well and are well mannered. Time will tell how they do in rain/snow and what they do to my MPGs (which I will report back with from time to time.). Pre tires I was getting 15.5-16.5 average in the city.
As promised, pics:

The tread is nice and deep on these, very pleased for it being an LT tire and all:

So far I am extremely pleased with the overall look. The man-child in my wants giant MT tires but this truck is a daily driver and will see plenty of snow so that is not in the cards.
As stated, I'll post back from time to time to give opinions/reports on these...
