Ok so I got a '17 1500 and just installed my newly black gloss powder coated OEM SRT10 speedlines with the 305 45 22 UHPs and brand new TPMs... do these things just set on their own or do I have to get these lil ******** dialed in with some sort of programmer?

thanks!

I dunno about 2016+, but based on folks I've talked to and what I've read online, the 2011-2015 Ram will learn the sensor ID, sensor position and clear low tire press warning on it's own with sustained driving of over 20mph.

that would be great but they don't...they have to be programmed...nothing is ever easy :signs8:

So how did my new wheels and tires work correctly ?
Bought them online mounted and balanced with sensors installed and all I did was drive it down my driveway and all was good.
:)

wish I knew ... but I have 3 other guys near me(and myself) that had to have them reprogrammed. Years rang from 2010 to 2013. My buddy works at dodge garage he also confirms this. So to answer...Luck, maybe? Lmao:Pshyco:

Back when I had MY15 Sport, I bought an extra set of wheels with TPMS sensors. Put a set of dedicated winter tires on them. First time I took off the stock Sport wheels, installed the new winter set, no read out. Had to get it programmed at the dealer.
Springtime I take those off, put the original Sport wheels back on, same thing. Back to the dealer as the truck would not read them. After the visit, all good. So every time I swapped the wheels, it was back to the dealer.
Now my next truck was a MY16 Longhorn. Still had my winter wheel set. So I throw them on, no programming needed. It will read either set of wheels.
Now with my current MY18 Limited, again, when I swap wheels, no visit to the dealer for programming.

Was going to say that is one of my favorite things about Mopar is the self programming TPMS. But I do t know when it started! I’ve only ever swapped sensors on 2016 and up and takes about no mote than 5 mins for he new ones to be picked up.

My 14 needed nothing. 4 new went in with the new tires worked instantly as they have in my Wranglers also.

My 18 adjusted themselves after I drove down the street after leaving the tire shop. My 15 did the same thing.
