Im looking at getting new wheels, 5 at that. So has anyone added another sensor to the spare? Im curious on what it takes to make it work on the truck to read the air pressure on the dash and how much a sensor costs if anyone has done that. Will the truck dash actually read 5 instead of just 4? I like to rotate the spare into the rotation and would like to know the air pressure since our stock spare does not have one. I cant rotate the spare in now do to it being a steel wheel. Hopefully this makes sense. I hate getting a flat and finding out my spare is not full of air. I know I need an air compressor which I will be getting one of these days. Thanks for any input.

As in read all 5 at one time on the dash display? As far as I know, even the latest trucks are only equipped to read the 4. One at each corner.

In terms of the truck having the ability to read more than four, assuming the TPMS systesm and wheel sensors are the same as my 2019 classic, as long as you are using OEM sensors, you can have as many as you want. The truck will automatically sync itself up with and recognize the TPMS sensor in the wheel. No programming is required.

I have two sets of OEM wheels for my 2019. One is off of a 2015 model year. My truck works with all 8 with no programming.

5 new wheels require 5 new tires.
