I have a 8 inch lift on my 05 2500 37inch tires and my adjustable track bar broke the other night on the bottom thread.. been on the truck for a year or two. Just had a shop replace the ball and u joints and about 2 months later it broke. Bought another track bar off eBay and this one came with a Heim joint for the top.. put it all back on turn the wheels all the way to the right and everything seemed ok turned them back the the left and just about all the way around the track bar bent on the bottom about where the other one broke. I need some info on why this might be thanks

Stop buying cheap parts.

Check out Thuren. In fact, check out their website and call them. Tell them what it going on and they will give you the best advice.

My guess is it's too short. Do you know if you axle was centered under the truck?
Do you have the upgraded streering? You can tell if you have the "T" or the "Y" style..

I know it has the upgraded gear box because when I went to put a steering stabilizer on it I found out lol and I don’t think the axle was completely centered when I put it on this evening. Some one told me today that something is catching when the wheel turns and the steering box is trying to move the axle instead causing it to bend. I’ve called a bunch of places and they don’t do a adjustable track bar that big for a 05

Does it have a drop bracket for the track bar? 8" lift on that truck is extreme and if it was just a "bubba" job you may run it to all kinds of issues.
Not even sure a Thuren works up the that height. You are talking some extreme geometry with 8" of lift that would require a bracket or something to get those angle back to a manageable angle.
