Nice. That is the only thing I would like to trade my truck for at the moment. I don't know how long I will have my current truck but if one of these days they announce they are in the final year of the Power Wagon that's when I'll buy.

Good looking truck. Start by not pulling all the badges and not painting your wheels black. It will still be a good looking truck then.

LOL!

I looked a the PW before ordering my 2500 and what was surprising is how much lower the payload/towing rating is than a typical 2500. Probably due to the specific springs used but it's actually not much better than a 1500 setup.

Beautiful truck, congrats!

I know Rams web site isn't 100% accuate but the tradesman powerwagon has a payload of 3200 and the larmie 3100 according to Rams website

Took no hit at all since I got such a good deal on my 13 they gave me more on the trade in then I paid for it proly helped I only had 16000 miles on her too...All badges stay as do the chrome wheels and even more chrome will go on her....First mod already ordered is a new old man cap so I can keep all my junk dry that I put in the back...From what I read payload is way more them a 1500 and towing is up there pretty good too...No need for air bags on this one so that's one mod I don't have to worry about....Now to open up my wallet again this thing needs steps bad I have to jump up to get in her.

I had read a couple of reviews which stated significantly reduced payload/towing for the PW. It seemed strange to me as well, so assumed it was softer springs.

Edmunds.com

A regular Ram 2500 SLT that isn't a Power Wagon has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,000 pounds and a payload of 3,170 pounds. The Power Wagon's GVWR is 8,510 pounds and its rated maximum payload is 1,430 pounds. Similarly, a regular 2500 SLT with 4.10 gears can tow a maximum of 15,500 pounds, but the corresponding Power Wagon is limited to 10,750 pounds.
