I found a great deal on a complete 2013 Laramie 1500 interior. My truck is a 2013 2500 tradesman. I searched around and haven’t seen if they’re interchangeable so I decided to try. I have everything bolted up and so far it seems to work aside from the ac controls. My blower motor is stuck on, and I have no controls of the AC what so ever. So my question is, does the factory Laramie harness require a new resistor or re programming such as Alfa Obd? I’m electronically-challenged. (To add my dash came with everything attached to the dash, i.e 7 speed fan module, factory amp and middle dash speaker)

Does it have the auto AC? If so, did you install the humidity sensor?

DO NOT SWAP DASH HARNESSES BETWEEN TRUCKS !!!
* PSA: see post 344

Put the original dash wiring/radio/HVAC back in and do a proper 8.4 HVAC conversion
.
PS: no humidity sensor with a 13 truck

The new bezel came with auto ac but my truck is just a factory 4 speed system. I did see earlier where the blower motor resistor is different on 7 speed trucks and requires new wiring harness as well to convert from 4 speed to 7 speed. So I’m thinking that may be my issue. Also would the humidity sensor you’re referring to be right below the steering wheel on the removable panel? If so I’ll check later.

Ok thanks, I didn’t see the post. I will switch them over. I figured to give it a shot though considering all the wires were still attached to the new dash. I now see your posts in here. Are you still making harnesses for seats?

Ok great! I have 2 8.4s one from a 2013 and a 2018. 2 front Seats are currently getting reupholstered. How do I get in touch with you about the seat harnesses? I have the full center console as well and the seats have the heated rear seats as well.
