I bought a 2018 Power wagon new, and ever since I bought it, I wish I would have waited for Black on Black. I bought the Red and Black PW. I only have 17000 miles on it, but I just wish I would have bought another color. As shallow as it may seem, I believe I am going to trade her off for a Black PW.

Good luck! Hope you didnt put a bunch into it.

I just picked up a silver wagon. I really wanted the granite or black.. but after looking at this thing everyday, the contrast between silver and black is growing on me. It makes it stand out, but just enough.

You know, unlike red on black hahaha. Although I did see a delmonico red on black which looked beautiful!f4157f44f034553a2af5510a9315452f.jpgc7b612074d528f20de83cb7f66868e53.jpg

Black on Black is a great color combination, even though it can be so hard to keep clean. For me unless the dealer is offering a get deal, trading a 2018 PW just for a color change would be a tough pill to accept... But I guess it might be worth the trade to upgrade the color and get the 8-speed transmission. I wish you the best of luck on your trade.

I have both a granite gray Power Wagon and a red 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup. Prefer either color.

Got a similar decision to make today on the purchase of 1,320 feet of barbed wire. The Red Brand is gray with red barbs and the Sierra is entirely gray, but is 10 bucks more for the same type of wire. From my experience the bulls will ******** on both equally regardless. So the color isn't an issue to them. I like both colors and so why not save $10 by going with the Red Brand?

I have a 2018 Black w/rambox and the decal delete option, love it but it is hard to keep clean. If the color is that important go for it. I've often thought about trading up for the new camera sytem and transmission.

Just a thought, by trading up you will suffer the usual depreciation loss, PLUS the usual up-charge that comes with every new model pricing.
I would assume this amounts to several thousand dollars, you could get a really ******* paint job (to your exact liking) for a few grand...just sayin!

I don’t ever have a truly clean shiny vehicle!

Assuming you trade for 2019+ you’ll get the ZF 8 speed.

I must agree with everyone. I love the black--when it's clean. But, within 1 hour of washing, it's dirty again. I'd really like an orange one. I also like the sand color. I was curious and looked at my local dealership. Prices are high and not coming down. I figured they'd come down some with the hit the car dealerships are experiencing with this virus thing going on. I also only see 2019 PWs on the lot--no 2020s.

I looked hard for the orange one!

I envisioned doing a Simon & Simon retro build!

Black on black on black works for me though!

I always look at prices of trucks as a hobby and just out of boredom. What I've noticed is that about 4-6 weeks ago, they were really dealing on new vehicles. That was when all this virus crap was relatively new and most people were unsure and therefore not spending money. Now it seems like the dealerships are running low on inventory as people started to loosen up and spend some money after they became more comfortable/familiar with our new way of life. I recently inquired about a new Power Wagon at Tacoma Dodge, (this is the place I bought my '17 and I also bought a '16 Scat Pack Charger and got $10,000 off of MSRP), and now they don't even want to talk about anything less than MSRP. Supply and demand now I guess.

I have been talking with Dave Smith Auto in Idaho, they are still knocking about $8k off msrp......just not sure if going from my 2018 to a 2020 is worth it
