So, ordered my train horn today and it will be in Friday. I want to set it up myself. Just wondering how difficult this will be, and if there's anything I should know before I start getting into this about placement, tubing, wiring, etc. Also, how would I go about wiring it to change with the stock horn?

Get your power from stock horns (where the wire connect to them)

I have mine on a switch, so I can run the stock horn, flip, and the air horn goes.

Yeah. That's what I'm looking to do. Okay. Awesome. Hopefully it's somewhat easy.

I will search around to see if I can find the wiring diagram I used.

Will it be the same? But thanks man. Anything helps. Going into this cold turkey. Also, how'd you mount the switch? I was thinking about removing or cutting the power pedal delete plate, or whatever that feature is called lol, and mounting it there.

I'll take pics during install, and also when it's all finished up! Especially a video/audio clip.

Not sure on all the placements yet. I know the tanks going on the frame under the bed, but doesn't the compressor need to be close to the horns and battery?

The train horn came in today. Slightly rainy outside so I stuffed my truck in the garage and started getting to work on it. Will be updating this post with how it's going.

Quit working on it for now. Hard to mount the air tank and compressor. Haha. Have a spot for it. Just running into a lot of problems.
