Hello so the other day I was driving at about 35mph and all of the sudden my transmission slipped into "triptonic" mode (where you have to manually switch gears). It then down shifted from4 to 3 to 2 to 1 and the completely stopped in the middle of the road. The engine still running but it was like it put itself in park with the gear selector still in drive. I try to put it in neutral to push it of the road but it wouldn't go into neutral. After trying to restart the truck and after vigorously moving the shifter back and forth I got it to go into gear and was able to make the 1/2 mile drive home. What could the culprit be?
