Trans Shift Kits

Back in the day .... way back in the day, we put shift kits in automatic transmissions to get them to shift firmer. Is this still doable or advisable with the modern transmissions?

5/6 speeds yes, if it's the 8 speed then no. Shift kits don't do much for the 5/6 speed either, the best option is to get the valve body reworked but you have to send yours in to do that.

Get an 03' Hemi and you can disconnect the feed to the computer, it'll shift hard enough to jerk your head then.
