The TCM for the ZF 8spd is inside the transmission itself (part of the valve body) and there is an adaptive relearn.
From what I understand it can be reset but it's usually only needed in extreme situations, just driving normal will do the same just takes a little longer

A quick reset is disconnect the battery for an hour and leave the positive and negative cables touching. That will drain the computer and resets the learned shift pattern. Unless you need to do a hard reset which I’m not sure but try posting in the Alfa obd thread and see if it’s possible that way.

Anybody have any luck resetting the TCM. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited 5.7 Hemi gas only. Been getting P0175; i know its note related to tranny but both issues started at same time. Stored codes are: U142800, U000100, U114F00...anybody have any input? Thanks.
