2013 Ram V-6 Outdoorsman, love it. Usual transmission jerk when stopping, was told by dealer this was normal. Had the recent update in January of 2019 than about a couple of days later shifter wouldn't engage all the time. Than had issue where in March it would not start, had to disconnect the battery to reset. Than in May had it not go into gear, I could remote start it but could not physically put into gear. AAA came out and tried everything they could think of, than we disconnected the battery and it reset. Not sure what it could be since it is intermittent. Posted a few months ago but page has been updated so lost all of that, if any info. The update was a park issue, which is one of the things I had go wrong, it would not go into gear, just flashed. I know if you switch too fast that can happen, not the case here. But that the other issue where I could remote start but NOT move the gear selector at all, help please!

I'm guessing you know you have to push the Start button with-out touching the brake pedal to get it to release the shifter dial when you remote start it.Remote start locks the shifter dial till you touch the start button

Hi Jd633,

Please let us know via private message if you decide to have your dealer look into this. We would like to have this documented and have a case escalated in your behalf so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to help find a potential solution.
