Transmission issues

So I have a 2017 1500 with the zf8 transmission, I recently had some problems with the shifting. It would occasionally go into gear but other times it wouldn't engage or engage late in the gear after reving out. I added some aft 4 fluid and some Lucas stop slip but nothing seems to do the trick. I tried again to drive it with letting it warm up for about 10 or so minutes and took it for a test drive and it seemed to do ok but it would still stall a little if I punched it, anybody have any suggestions or advice

The 8spd transmission does not use ATF4 fluid, there has been reports of transmissions destroying themselves after the ATF4 was used in them.
If your having shifting or engagement issues the problem is most likely in the valve body assembly.
