When I shift the truck from park to reverse or drive to reverse I hear a click, very audible on the outside of the truck. This is one of those probably been doing it the entire time but I just noticed it. It sounds like its actually coming from the transmission where its switching. Does that sound right? Do that make that type of noise. Its a 2019 so I am not concerned just more curious than anything. Its awesome, runs great, shifts gears great, has that click when going from park to reverse. Is it the electric switch I am hearing?

Thanks for any info,

David

I have a 2020 Quad cab Tradesman with a six-cylinder engine... I only have about 4200 miles on it and I just checked...

Yes I hear a very audible click outside the truck when I go from park to reverse ...and when going back to park.

It’s normal, not exactly sure what it is to a point but my Chrysler 300 does it.
