Ive got a 2001 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9l v8 magnum and im having trouble finding a good used transmission for it does anyone know if the transmission from a 5.2l v8 will work for it?

You are in 4 generation forum, you should put your post in the correct 2nd gen forum, guys in that forum know more and most of them don't even see this forum. But, I'd ask is there a reason you can rebuild the current transmission? Another option perhaps?
