Just wondering if anyone has experienced my current issue. Driving one day turned a corner, accelerated and truck started whining but wouldn't move. Revved with no response. Tried all gears even 4 high and 4 low, truck would not move. Told by dealer that it probably needs a transmission. Already changed fluid and filters. Everything was clean. No burnt fluid or pieces. Also replaced input speed sensor. Hooked it to scanner and there are no codes. No turbine rpm's but there is 120-130 psi line pressure when brake is pushed. Any thoughts?

Well, something similar happento me. I change myself (I study Physics& Mechanics) the solenoids too with oil andfilter. It works for some months. Atsome months later it happen againI was soangry. I was so manymiles awayfrom my home that it will costme like $300 a tow truck. A month later I decided after researching that I will put a new tranny in mu RAM truck. When I openthe stock tranny all the clutches were burn and the "turbine" was alittle scratched in the neck. So I found an OEM tranny but with the 5 changes after stock kit and racing solenoids. I decided to buy it, because I hear about those 5 changes cluktchs kits were very good. I installedit myself, a really pain inthe ass work to do, but I do it. Now my RAM truck has great fuel economy and run better than whenI gotit from the dealer. Good luck.

Had similar problem about a month ago. Backing in the driveway and when easing the front tires over the hump in the driveway it was no go. Long story short, I took it to the trans shop and during the investigation they found that my TQ was toast and my clutches were gone as well. I had them rebuild it with a shift kit and couldn't be happier.
