I switched my clock to military format yesterday, and realized that it is displaying backward. Example, it's 12:49PM CST as I post this, but the truck displays 0:49. I have it set to automatic time keeping, does anyone else have this issue?

I am sooooooo glad my old 2012 is dumb as a box of rocks. They made the 13s and newer ones waaayyyyyy too smart.

I'm using the time server rather than manually setting the time, but the time server is backwards. Instead of noon it thinks it's midnight, so when I choose military time it reads off by 12 hours. I could set it manually but that defeats the purpose of the time server. Just wondered if anyone else saw this discrepancy with the time server.

How did you SET the military time? Reset it again OR what until noon or midnight at 1200 or 0000 and unhook your battery then hook it back again. :p

You can choose which format you want the time displayed in, either 24 or 12 hour format. And you can choose to set it manually or use the unit's built in satellite timekeeping. So I switched to 24 hour format with the automatic time server and it displays backwards. Noon-fifteen reads 0:15 instead of 12:15. I switched back to 12 hour format because it at least looks right again. Thought maybe someone else has seen this too.

Hi Warrenram,

How often does your clock update? I ask this because I have clocks that are self setting but they don't update very often and when I change the batteries they take sometimes up to a day before they correct themselves. Just sayin'

Whats the 12 hour thing display? 0000 to 1200 then start over? Maybe the satellite thing isnt set for the right zone/continent? I havent played with my clock yet, LOL.

I don't know how often it reaches out to the time server, but it's always been in the same time zone.

12 hour display is 12:00 to 11:59, then over again, like any 12 hour format clock. The 24 hour display is 0:00 to 23:59, then over again. You know, 'military time'. Right now at 8:28 AM CST, the 24 hour format reads 20:48 'cuz it's backwards and thinks it's PM.

Yes. I can manually set the time and bypass the time server and that would work. It's the time server that is incorrect. The radio gets it's time setting from 'the cloud'.
