I installed mine about 3 weeks ago, no problems and mine isn't "loud" when kicked back into place. Does yours hit the underside of the bumper?

Mine does not hit the bumper. Sits low enough and I did not use the spacers ! The thump is no issue for me but the rattle when up does lol So the rubber bumper will just snug it up. I tried it with a thin piece of wood . Just something for me to mess with lol
