I actually own both trucks. A 2016 Nissan Frontier and a 2013 Dodge Ram. I like the Frontier for the local runs in town where parking might be tight and the Dodge Ram when I need something bigger to haul whatever. The Ram does better when driving long distances with a much better comfort level and bigger interior. My kids are scared to drive the Ram because of its size but the Frontier is more their fancy when they need to borrow it for their needs. The Nissan has all the bells ad whistles it could possibly have at that time and is a very simplistic truck to own. There's no turbo charges to deal with. There are millions of them and the parts are cheap and easy to come by. My truck has only 45K on it so I plan on having it for a very long time. I've always loved my Ram truck and the gas mileage isn't that far off from the Nissan. The Nissan gets about 300 miles to a tank so it seems like your always hitting the gas station more because of that. The gas tank could have been made bigger to aleviate that issue. But overall, its been a dependable truck with no issues to speak of. So I guess I can say that I have the best of both worlds
