Troubleshooting a MDS Solenoid issue
Cylinder number six on my 5.7 hemi fails to reactivate after being disabled by the MDS system. Everything works fine if I disconnect the battery and reconnect after a few minutes. If I drive for about half a mile or long enough for the MDS system to reactivate, cylinder 6 fails to reactivate once the MDS system deactivates. I've replaced all four MDS solenoids, but cylinder 6 never reactivates when deactivated by the MDS system. Any idea where could be preventing the cylinder from reactivating?
Again, everything works just fine if I disconnect the battery and reconnect and start the vehicle again.
