Truck phone/uconnect issue?

I have had my 2013 RAM 1500 for almost 3 weeks- absolutely love it... The only thing I can't figure out is uconnect.. I tried to register while in vehicle, but can't get a signal- it just searches... Bluetooth works great (phone and streaming), but messages aren't displayed in DIC...
Finally, i am also getting a "vehicle phone requires service" message every time I start truck.. Guess its no big deal as I don't need vehicle phone.. Any tips/comments welcome... Thanks!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360867833.034639.jpg

I've been having issues with mine as well. Was at the dealership and on phone with Chrysler regarding an issue with voice recognition for texting.
They say there is a "voice training" set up somewhere, but I can't find.
I receive a text message, and it prompts...listen, reply etc. so I hit reply.
It calls up two options; one is to reply with a voice message, and the other is to pick from the list of generic replies. When I choose voice, it says to speak my message. So I do and it always comes back saying it doesn't get it or understand. Then asks if i want to cancel, and I say YES, and it understands that!!! The dealership and Chrysler do NOT have a clue on how to fix this. Just as they don't have an answer for why Canada does not get the "APPS" feature. Very frustrating!!!:mad:

I was getting the error vehicle phone was not working in my 2013 as well. Dealer had to replace the radio.

I was having the same problem with the voice text. I have two phones, an Iphone and Blackberry 9800 and neither work. I called Uconnect service from my truck and the person told me the Iphone is not compatible yet. The Blackberry is but has to be a 9810 or 9820, can't remember which. She also said they are still working to add more phones and to keep checking back on the Uconnect website for compatible phones.

I went through the UCONNECT Access Registration Process and things were working well with my setup. Showed the wife that evening and all was well. The next day it stopped working.

I have spoken with UCONNNECT Access support services and I will not repeat my thoughts on the young man who was 'Attempting" to "Help" me. After a few weeks of messing around with it I took it back to the dealer who kept the truck for a week while waiting for corporate Technical Services to get back with them.... I now have the truck and am still awaiting the phone call.....

FYI: I updated my Uconnect app on my phone today. I know it won't help you with this issue, but just thought I'd share.
