So after a few hiccups, I finally got our 09 QC lifted on the Tuff Country 4" with uniball upper control arms. Kit comes with front and rear lift spacers, lengthened upper control arms, new bump stops, and rear shocks. I went ahead and put on new front struts as well since we were going to have it torn all the way down anyway. Ended up having to get new front lower control arms as well, but that's a whole nother story.

It rides very good and handles mild offroading well. Truck os completely level. Put on DX4 7S wheels with -6 offset and Fierce Attitude tires. Time will tell if this sub-$1000 lift lives up to what we expect, but for now, we are very happy.

You sure that's level? Looks nose high. Regardless, nice work! Always good to hear reviews on new products.

Yeah...it's level when sitting on level ground. I need to get a better pic.

No wobble in 4x4 as of yet, but I haven't been above 40 mph in 4x4.

Zone has lift spindles and differential drop, Tuff does not.

Zone has upper control arm relocation brackets, Tuff came with new upper control arms.

that's about it from what I can tell. They both use strut spacers up front and coil spring spacers on the rear.

6 months later and I still love this lift. It still rides smooth and tracks straight. There's a little tire wobble at 55 mph...probably just needs to be balanced. 5000 miles since install and not one single problem.

For offroading, this lift is best as a muddy trail lift. I've had 8" lifts on Jeeps in the past for crawling. I wouldn't put this lift in that situation unless you had too. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier given the $$ per inch.

Im glad to see this review. My wife surprised me with this kit for xmas for my 2015. Ive already ordered 18' Helo rims and 35x12.5 Toyo M/T. I was kinda nervous about alignment and vibration from what i've read on other sites.
Ill post some pics after i get it installed.

Hey Man! Great looking truck, love the tire and wheel set up. Are you still running 17's with that lift?

I'm on 17" DX4s and Fierce Attitude 35's. Really love these tires. They sing on the road but it's not so bad you can't have conversation. Mud grip is great.

I am curious about the UCAs. IIRC they have polyurethane bushings. Did you notice if more bumps, expansion joints, potholes, etc. get felt through the truck chassis more than the OE UCAs? I like the uniball design but am concerned about the bushings.

Thanks!

Just curious if the tire balance fixed the wobble?
