So my dash computer is telling me that the right rear turn signal is out...but it’s not! The green arrow flashes fast inside, but it is flashing normal outside and the light seems nice and bright.

what could I be missing?

Do you have puddle lights on your mirrors?

Puddle lights? I have lights that shine down when unlocking with remote. I do not have the flashing light embedded in the mirror when activating turn signal.

Have you tried switching the bulbs from each rear turn signal to the other side?

I went to change the bulb, noticed it was working fine, so I did nothing. If ain’t broke...

Figured there would be a way to reset the dash computer.

I am thinking that switching the bulbs to the opposite side will eliminate a bulb being the cause. Then you can move to the bulb housing

Is the cluster saying “ Right rear signal out” or is it showing a picture?

Does your truck have the LED tail lights? Is the front signal working correctly as is the signal light on the mirror?

So another evolution in the problem. Yesterday, unexplainably, the flasher slowed to its regular cadence and the dash computer indication of the rear signal being out went away. Then, about 1/2 hour later along the highway, the dash computer indication popped up and the next time I flipped the lever to indicate a right turn, the cadence of the flasher picked back up.

Hmmmm….

All exterior lights all flashing ok despite the interior warnings. Someone suggested simply switching the bulbs from left to right.
