heres my thought, i want to add a removable winch to my truck, bolt it into one of those craddles that mount in a hitch receiver and toss it on the bed when not needed

the back is simple, its got a receiver, the front, not so much

draw-tite makes one for the front, but it wont work with my aftermarket bumper

curt makes one, but it wont work with my plow frame

SO...does anyone make a receiver that bolts in the place of one of the two tow hooks?
my truck didnt come with them, but that frame section is flat and accessible
i understand it would be off set to the front of the truck BUT im only using it as an anchor point for a winch, so i really dont mind

Take for a look at a high school/tech/college welding class. Instructors love giving student a challenge. Usually you only pay for parts.

I thought about that...but if I'm going to have a 2 but welder make it, I can do it myself

If I'm using this mount to drag an 8000 pound truck out of a ditch I would like the welds to hold

I may hit up a local fab shop, just for piece of mind
