I drove to Quick-Shifters shop last month to upgrade rear suspension, brakes & replace fuel pump/sensor. We removed flare & wheel liner to access, had some faint rubs in clear coat where rubber touches fender, they are bushwhackers & have been on about 18 months. I have a friend who owns a paint & body shop, if it gets too bad I will have him fix & try that tape but I’ve heard it is hard to apply so it doesn’t show & still protects the paintDo you guys who have these install any PPF (paint protection film) under the rubber gasket? Or am I over thinking this?
