UAQ Apple Car Play Radio Install No Sound

Hey guys. So I have a 2015 1500 Eco Diesel that I upgraded the radio to an Apple Car Unit out of a 2018 unit. Install went great. Everything is working but 3 things.

1.) No sounds unless I’m touching buttons on the radio and then I can hear a song playing if I’m repeatedly touching the screen.

2.) The climate when touching it doesn’t go up gradually just goes from hot to cold.

3.) temp is reading funky.

Is this gonna take some time or did I do something wrong. I’m sure this has been asked but I bought it off eBay and I don’t want to wait too long before returning if need be. Thanks in advance for the help!

Well, it's been some time. Is it still doing this? The temperature stuff is normal until the radio reads the BCM and settles in but the volume one is strange.

Full HVAC conversion/harness? (... From where?)

What's the part# of New radio and any new parts for 8.4 install?

Engine tune/deleted?

Guys, about an hour later it was all working! So happy with this upgrade money was well worth it truly.

Gotta wait usually at least an hour. When I did my UAQ I actually power cycled a couple times before audio started working. Does it cause some moments of panic, yes it sure does, but gotta be patient with these upgrades to get the BCM read and updated.
