I have a 2018 Ram 2500 with the cheap radio. While making a call the other day, the screen froze on the phone screen. Now the radio will not play as it thinks I am still making a phone call. I can toggle between satellite, FM, AM, and phone, but none of the screens respond to any buttons. Using the buttons on the steering wheel also do not work.
I phoned uConnect and tried to do a soft reset by holding the two buttons on the steering wheel and then something with opening the driver's door, but no luck. Also tried pushing the two radio knobs as the same time but nothing. I
The lady told me I needed to go to a dealer and have a flash reset done.
Is there anything I can do myself without having to do to a dealer?
