Has anyone ever converted a UConnect 8.4 truck to the climate system on the lower trim models?
I want to upgrade to an Carplay/AA head unit.
Thought about the 4C upgrade, but there looks to be a lot of issues with firmware freezes and bugs.
I would prefer to upgrade to the Alpine Halo 11 with a conversion to the physical climate control knobs to control temperature, vent direction, and fan speed.
I currently have a limited with the dual zone temperature control (which I never use), the vents are selected though the UConnect menu.
Any feedback or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
