Uconnect 8.4A gps?

Hello,

I bought a uconnect 8.4a to replace my 5.0.

On start up I got a map button for 1-2 second on the right upper corner of the screen. I press on it, it began to load something but stopped after 30+ seconds.

Is it possible that unit had the navigation installed but because I don't have the antenna ( i have sirirus maybe it's the same antenna for navigation ? )

I' m just wondering why this map button appear sometime.

there is a way to know if the original owner of this radio paid for the upgrade ?

A ra3.

When I click on the Map button( i don't have the navigation lower button ) it's loading something ( or try ) until the 911 error message appear. After I clicked "ok" for the 911 error , the map loading disappeared

RA3 I believe is a non nav unit, I could be wrong. It's possible that it was flashed with nav. From what I've read the siriusxm antenna works as the nav antenna also
