UConnect and aftermaket HU or stock + amp

A couple of things here....

1. Can I replace my HU and keep Uconnect? I assume not but want to verify.

2. Anyone find a good spot to hide an amp in a bench seat reg cab? I don't want it on the back wall.
Maybe under the dash on the firewall?

no you can't keep use of the uconnect.

under the drivers seat is always a good spot for an amp.
