Hi,

I also posted this at HDRams, so if it looks familiar to anyone...

Hope someone has seen this before. Started having the 'Press Brake...' message on the dash show up constantly. Two days later, the radio is dead...does not turn on, and there is no power to the USB ports below it.

The phone charging pad does have power, if that helps.

Truck runs fine otherwise.

I did change out the alleged fuse for the UConnect (inline under the fuse box), even though it looked fine. Same result. I have been disconnecting the negative cable from the battery when its sitting for any length of time so it does not drain.

Has anyone seen this before, and/or have any suggestions? Its out of warranty so a trip to the dealer will be expensive. I also have the rear window leak, but going to guess its not related.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like there is a module that keeps waking up the bus network. Is it a constant cycle of the cluster waking up displaying the press brake message for about 15 seconds, then off for about 10 seconds?

Verified that the 'Push brake....' message stays on constantly. Watched it for over 3 minutes, never changes

Just for information….

The 3rd brake light leaked and took out the RF hub which somehow managed to take out the radio module as well according to the ram engineers the shop worked with

Luckily insurance covered it under comprehensive which negated a monster bill
