UConnect Help please

Iphone was synced for phone and BT Audio Streaming. Both have worked fine, Have not unpaired device. Now when I push the voice button and say "Bluetooth Audio" or push the AUX button it says phone not available. I cant get Itunes or Pandora to play through. Phone functions work normally. Thanks.


I have the Alpine Audio System with UCOnnect/Bluetooth options. Stereo is the CD/SAT/AMFM standard, no USB option, no touchscreen. Phone is Iphone 4 w/ 5.0.1 IOS.

BT streaming should work It did for me and so did the phone .... but I haven't tried it since iOS5. BT audio sucked anyway. It wasn't smooth playing so I gave up on that. I have the remote USB and my phone didn't work there either. So for Uconnect the only thing I use is the phone option. For music from my phone I just use the front Aux jack and as it should it works fine. I have 27 Gigs of music on the HD so I have options.

I'll have to try the BT audio ans see if mine works.

On mine the iphone works great for phone talk but BT and cabled audio dont work well or not at all.

Yeah my blue tooth sometimes rushes the songs, and if I use an ipod cable to my iphone plug into the usb port in my glove box, 1 out of every 5 times it will work and not error out.

I shut down and powered on the phone and it worked. Dunno what happened to the connection. I personally have no quality issues with the BT. Both Itunes and Pandora are awesome and I love that I can even skip Pandora songs with the steering or deck seek buttons.

One thing I knew before yesterday was that if I try to switch to BT and the Iphone is locked I have to enter my password before I can connect it though.

If you guys have quality issues and are keeping a factory setup I recommend trying to warranty a new unit. Thanks for chiming in everyone!

glad you got it working. Smart phones are little computers, sometimes they just need a reboot to fix any issues.

BT audio kinda worked after it caught up to its self. But the actual audio quality could be better. Plugging in thru the Aux jack sounds better with the same song.

I'll have to buy a m-m line and see if its different. I am still 100% satisfied with BT though. used the I-Heart-Radio app today to listen to Nashville 98 Country station

ah maybe yours works better than mine. I have the RBZ 430 mygig radio
