I just bought a used 2020 1500, my first Ram. Should I reset the Uconnect to factory defaults? I'm assuming the previous owner had changed settings to their liking.

I would say no unless you are experiencing issues. By resetting you are trying to fix what isn't broken, why? Go through the setting menus are set it your way.

The only thing it will do is put all of the settings back to post-assembly settings and delete any phones that have been connected. It does not clear any memory or anything worthwhile to "start from scratch" as the new owner.

Nothing you can't do by going through the settings yourself.

It's just as easy to check all the settings to see if you like them or want to change them so no need.

If it has built in navigation make sure the Home address is cleared.
You'll probably want to use AndroidAuto/CarPlay for navigation as the OEM navigation leaves much to be desired
