I currently have the basic radio in my 2012 Ram Express. The window sticker lists it as "Uconnect(R) 130 CD/MP3". I think this is the "RES" radio but without the phone or Uconnect button. I would like to have both a backup camera, hands free phone operation, and streaming from my phone. What is the best option for doing this?

If I understand correctly, I can swap to a RBZ radio ($350 on eBay) and then add the factory hands free Uconnect kit part# 82212159 ($230 on eBay) and then add the factory back-up camera kit part# 82211184 ($275 on eBay) and then have my dealer do something extra for another $100.

I could also go with an aftermarket radio and camera. Does anyone have any suggestions for a head unit that has all the stuff I want? I would like to keep satellite radio too.

Thanks!
Brearly

Does it make a difference if I install all the factory stuff at the same time or if I do it part by part. Does each part need a flash from the dealer?

Best to do camera and uconnect together as they both require flashes from dealer.

Does the radio require a flash? Does it make a difference which radio I get as long as it is a RBZ and has a high speed bus?

Sorry to ask so many questions. I think I am going to just get the radio from OEM Auto Parts Can anyone tell me the difference between the RBZ and the REN. Also, if I order the radio, camera and uconnect from the website above do I need a lock pick device?

Ren is older 20gb system made by harmen becker used upto 2010 model year, rbz is newer 30gb system made by mitsubishi and started being used in 2010 model year. you will need lockpick if you install aftermarket camera but no flash needed, however you will need flash anyway for the uconnect. i would rather go with lockpick and aftermarket camera, lockpick has many features besides the ability to interface with camera.

x2 on the info on this. Is there a flash needed if you just do the radio? (I'm assuming it retains functionality with satellite and what not.
