I have a 2014 ram 1500 laramie, one day out of the blue my radio failed to startup and said if it fails to startup after engine cycle to see the dealer. Tried doing the most recent update but still says the same thing. Sometimes it goes thru a loop of asking for a USB update then says wait 2 to 5 min. It keeps doing this long after the key is out and has drained my battery a few times now. I'm running out of ideas. Any advice would be very appreciated.

I had to disconnect both batteries. I am letting them sit overnight to see if that will stop the radio for checking for an update constantly.

I was finally able to get my unit to update. I had to let the usb stick and the radio talk to each other for about 6 hours and then it started to update. The truck was off and I had a battery charger on it. Good Luck I hope you fixed yours.
