Yes it’s a 2018 2500 BH, non-nav. I’m happy to copy this update to a usb drive and upload it if that is possible, anyone know how?

2018 Ram 2500 Limited, where is the radio part number?

Can the two of you message me your VIN and 2018 model radio (UAS or UAQ) so I can have my dealer contact try and get it downloaded for me on USB to share... (Can't grab it off the radio unfortunately).

** I'm going to repost this over in my fw info thread so I can find/follow up on it later as well **

weird.22.61 when the new units are shipping with jr 34.2. looks like they would just update to that.the classic radios have a totally diff part number though.instead of the standard next letter suffix ah to ai etc.

I tried doing my update over the air on Tuesday. Got a black screen that says error 20 contact the dealer. I took it to a dealer yesterday. They tried to manually update it but didn't work. Now I need a new radio. I have a 2019 with 8.4c w/Nav. The radio keeps displaying that message and won't shut off. It drained by battery the first night. Now I have to disconnect battery or pull fuse until the radio is replaced. Very frustrating.

I had the same issue and it was very frustrating, I kept the fuse disconnected until the new radio was installed. Thankfully the new radio arrived in a week.

seems I have read several people lately have gotten u connect updates and screwed their radios up.

I had replaced the front and rear speakers and it sounded ok...then, after the update , the sound was amazing !!! So, it did the opposite for me

I’ve never received an update on my 2014 since new. My nav is sooo outdated that it shows me driving on service roads next to major hwy. You’d think that a vehicle worth over 65k would automatically update something a simple as nav. Even my reverse camera is messed up showing pic in reverse and is supposedly linked to radio. My $100 Garmin has free updates for life....

Does anyone know if this will effect all radios with Uconnect? For instance I upgraded to the 8.4 in my tradesman and it obviously isn't the original. Would that pose and update issue or lack of updating?

You can pay to have the NAV updated but the maps won't be nearly as new as Garmin's

These OTA updates are for 2018+ factory radios.

Which 8.4? If from a 2018+ with Carplay and Android Auto the answer is "maybe"...

Didnt pull the 4g antenna off yet and got hit with the update today. Haven't had a chance to check what version yet but thankfully it seems to have installed successfully and i didn't notice any differences.
2018 8.4 no nav, base stereo. So UAQ i think?

I almost **** when i started the truck and it popped up, it makes u put a time in for the download. No gettin away from it.

For those getting updates... Please identify your radio year, Model, and version depending on radio type...

ie 2018 Ram UAQ 4c Nav radio, application version v22.6.x

HOLD ...

TEMP UP + TEMP DOWN + FRONT DEFROST

For 6-10 secs, to get into dealer menu, then look under Radio info. ...

> 2013-17 Harmon RA3/RA4 radios go by the 'Software Version'

> 2018+ Panasonic UAQ/ UAS radios go by 'Application Version'.
