Uconnect VP3 Software Update Issue

Hey all,

So I have run into an issue with my 2016 Ram 1500s software version for the radio. I am currently trying to install the newest 18.45 update but have ran into issues with the update not even pulling up upon inserting the flash drive in the truck with the engine running. After having a phone call with Uconnect Customer Support and my local Ram dealer, They said that my current 15.25 software version is so out of date that they need to complete 2 software updates to install the 18.45 software version. Does anyone know where I could get those versions on to a flash drive without having to pay the dealer $300+ dollars to complete the update? TIA.

I have those update files saved for my 2013 VP3 8.4A going back to 13.5.4, not sure if they are compatible with your 2016 VP3 tho.

As a thought you might want to try using a different usb drive just to remove that as being the issue with it not reading the drive. When I updated mine I had a issue with it not reading the first drive I was using.

please, need the help. Have 2014 GC 3.0 CRD, with RA3/VP3 EU (Europe) radio. Please, need the 17. x.x software to upgrade the same. Present software version is 15.26.1. Your help will be very much appreciated.
