Update on 2017 factory mess up

When I bought my express off the lot it had the cargo light installed in the bed. Needless to say the light did NOT work. Went back to dealer in march and after checking sales code they discover I have no cargo light for my VIN. Talked to the GM, who is a family friend, he said he would make it right. They said the factory put the wrong bed on my truck when built. GM said that they sold it like that so they will fix it. Today I got a call that my harness is in and they are going to install it so I have the lights.

Multiplying the **** that goes wrong with my tiny company to the scale of an auto plant I can't even imagine what is possible.

Good that their fixing it right to make a customer happy instead of just removing the light. I wonder if anyone who got a 3.6 with hemi badges got the same treatment

Haha no ****! I think of our production season and realize if something ISN'T ****** up on a daily basis we either forgot to do something or we missed it.

Funny story similar to this. When I bought my 2012 it was supposed to be equipped with auto start and when I brought it home it didn't want to work. So when I brought it in, they said my truck was supposed to be equipped with it but the module wasn't installed by the factory
