Upgrading/replacing steering wheel

I own an ‘09 Laramie 1500 w the heated steering wheel. It’s getting pretty beat up w age and I was wondering if it’s possible to replace the original steering wheel with a newer and thicker 4th gen steering wheel?

Put a Wheelskin on it....less than $100....it'll look like new.

The person in that thread I linked to says it still works (heats up) but just takes a bit longer. I believe you could get the Wheelskin perforated too (very small holes). This should help too.
