Has anyone on here done it?

I was actually about to buy the full interior of the rebel from seats an such. I called him and he said that the crew cab seat will fit the quad cab. Its the 70/30 seat i have the full bench seat.

He said that the bolt holes are hidden under the carpet and that a hole just needs to be drilled into the new brackets.

Can anyone confirm?

The seats are the same between the two cabs, there's just more leg room between them. I can't say about the 60/40 vs solid bench issue though as all my trucks have been the 60/40 split.

awesome thanks, screw my friends leg room hahaha. I would assume if quad cabs have the 60/40 option that they have the bolts under there. I doubt they would make different cabs

Why not?! It's only money.... ;) :waytogo:

Hahahah good chunk of money. I figured I was going to eventually get leather so that would be 600+ plus the install. And the center console would be 500-600 and shipping. So now I have power seats and heated if I can figure out out to get that to work

I am pretty sure the holes are there and already threaded. They literally just put a sticker over them. Could be wrong but I would be surprised. I get a different harness but usually body and frame times are all the same. Too much of an expense to have different versions of those.

Let us know how it works out. I wanted to put a 60/40 split in my crew. But I only found one from a quad.

I called my father in law and he measured his quad bench (seat back to front) and it was shorter then my measurements on my crew. So I opted not to switch out. The bolt hole locations were exactly the same distance. But the bench depth; if I remember correctly was 2" shorter in the quad bench

I was planning to do this, but I mesured the seat in a crew cab friends truck, and the answer is no. The bolt pattern for the seat are not the same. The distance between the bolt was around 19" in a quad cab and the crew was near 21.
