USB CD Player

Searched and could not find this anywhere. Has anyone tried to connect a laptop size USB CD player through the USB port on the Alpine system in a 2013 or 2014 truck? Don't need it often, but thinking it might be nice once in a while. Thanks.

Won't be possible since the drivers for that usb cdplayer probably wouldn't load onto the HU. Unless that cd player has everything self contained and is only streaming audio to the HU.
