I've got a 2014 Ram 3500. I've had a USB drive filled with music in the USB media port since the day I bought it (used). All of a sudden (2 years later), it won't read the USB stick. I've changed out the stick with a different one - still won't read it. I downloaded the newest firmware update and tried to get it to upload into the Uconnect system, but once again - since the USB won't read any stick, I can't update the software. I did transfer all music onto an SD card, and I CAN get that to work. Any ideas on how to get that USB media port to start working again? No blown fuses, and I figure since the SD card reader works, then the USB port should work as well.

I have seen this happen to some members that ended up having to replace the actual Media Hub assembly and it corrected their issue but some did not. You can give that a try and see if it helps and also check the connector at the hub and under the drivers seat to check for damage and to make sure they are connected. Check to see if it will still charge your phone. If it does that will tell you that it is actually connected. I actually use my SD slot to listen to music like you are doing now. I like it better because the SD card is inserted out of the way and less likely to get bumped.
