Filling the rear tires is hard to do. I have big hands and worse yet, extra extensions to my air supply seem to be too wide to get the a good connection to the tires air valves without leaking air. Any suggestions for valve extensions?

Also, there seems to be a plastic hub cap that covers the wheels. Does that just pop off? If so I may be able to reach the air valves easier.

I bought an extended length air chuck for mine. The inner dual rear tires should have a plastic extension valve/cap so you can reach them without issue. They have some flex to them.

I have one of those but it it doesn't make a straight connection to the valve where it is. I need to extend the valve itself.

I had the metal extenders on mine at one time. I never had an issue, but the word out there is that those can come loose over time. And then of course they will let the air out of the tire due to the way they are made. I tried one of the longer inflators, and for me it just didnt work very well. So when I had to adjust the air pressure on the duallys, I had to dismount the rear tires to get the valve stems. On my next truck, I just didnt trust them not to fail, so I didnt install them.

Every time to go to the tire shop for my rotate/balance or new tires, they somehow manage to screw up my valve stem extensions. Either they don’t tighten enough Or they over tighten and crack the O ring leading to a leak either way. I‘m so tired of this hassle. Are there any good alternatives to valve stem extensions besides just getting a longer inflation chuck for home use?

As a side note, can anyone recommend a good portable tire inflator that runs off the cigarette lighter or 120V power port that can handle 80 psi and not over draw the amp rating on the circuit? The one I bought will cut off after about 1/2 a second when powered by the cigarette lighters. Wondering if the amp draw is too high? TIA
