Viper Security Reset

Well guys. Driving from class the truck had all kinds of lights flashing. So I shut it off and went to restart. And the starter had been killed by the viper security. I guess I freaked it out when I first got in it by accidentally locking and unlocking with the actual key. I don't want that to happen again. Had to push it to an autozone and reset the battery to reset the security. Is there any way to reset the security quicker?

I don't know....but i wouldn't want there to be a real easy way to reset the alarm.....kinda defeats the purpose of keeping thieves getting away with it...don't you think?

Not if you reset it with the keys. Lol. Just want a different way than pulling the battery. In case that ever happens again.
