Was I supposed to get a spare key fob?

Never thought about this but I only received on key fob/key with my 12' express, usually truck comes with spare. Did they do away with this?

I think i got two key fobs, and two keys. I'd have to look in my drawer's I know I got at least 2 regular keys along with my fob.

Exactly. I work at a dealer and whatever keys come with the vehicle is what they give you. You could try and get the salesman to get one for you

I think the answer boils down to if you bought the truck new or used and you got your answer

Don't know about new but when I bought my used truck, it came with two keys. I keep meaning to buy a third so I have a spare just in case since it's cheaper to make a spare if you have two keys as opposed to making a second one.

Used vehicles only give you whatever was turned in by the previous owner, at least that is what usually happens.

Bought the truck new last November and dealer is looking into getting a new key, also said they would take care of the rust spots on the rear bumper since I have the paint protection plan.

My 07 came with 2 key fobs, but 1 of them was not setup for my truck. It could start it, but then the security light would come on and kill the motor immediately. A lot of use that was...haha.

The dealer had to get my truck delivered from another dealership so he is contacting them to see if it is lying around somewhere. When he looked up my VIN their system has me in as owning a copperhead color truck which I do not own, said they may have over charged me for my white truck and I also may be entitled to a refund hopefully with a spare fob lol.
