Whatever that link it to, isn't working for me because I am on my phone. It just takes me to the mobile dodge site. But a tsb is not a recall. It is pretty much just to help technicians quickly repair known problems. It was covered under warranty because you likely have powertrain warranty. Not because it is a tsb.

What bolts should I check if I'm trying to correct an exhaust leak also known as the Hemi tick? I have a loud ticking on passenger side when engine is cold, stealership wants to charge over $100, just for diagnostic, and I'm out that if it's not considered to be covered under powertrain warranty...thanks!

I just replaced both of my manifolds last week due to broken bolts. I took a couple pics. It is usually the two on the rear on each side that break. Just get under there and see if the heat shield is loose. Here is what it looks like. I had one on each side like this. This way you will know what is wrong and they will be able to tell you if it is covered.

And why do you say stealership? Are they not providing you with a service you cannot do on your own? You expect them to work for free?

Well whatever it is the fact remains, it pertained to the year of my truck and they fixed it for free. Lol. Not sure why the link isn't working but I see that it is not working on my phone either.

First off thank you for the information, it's very helpful and the pics are awesome...really, it is very much appreciated.

I referred to it as a stealership because I've had a few instances where I've taken a vehicle in and had them tell me that I needed work done that I simply didn't need, trying to increase the bill. To be clear, I greatly respect anyone who works for a living doing ANYTHING, but I usually find that those doing the work are not the ones that set the policy...i certainly don't expect anyone to work for free...that is simply my personal experience/opinion.

Thanks again!

Just found a broken bolt today. I was kind of suspecting it for a little while now but I finally got under there and looked. I'm heading to the dealership Monday to see what they say. Here's a picture.

It better be, especially since they had an RRT for the exact issue on the 2009s. I also have an extended warranty, but I can see them trying to charge because I have a modded truck.

I've seen the RRT. It involves installing upgraded bolts on 7 and 8. Your 2012 already has these bolts. It was only some 2009 that didn't come with them.

Well clearly they didn't do the job. I believe the bolt on mine is the 8th cylinder, the exact bolts being replaced on the 2009s.

Yes anything 2011 and up I believe had the upgraded bolts whenever ram took over. Which concerns me if they are still breaking. I'm still waiting on the dealership to get the head in to replace mine. The leak is getting worse everyday now that the dealer pulled it off. ****** up the bolt with an extractor and the head and put everything back in

Just an update, went to the dealership yesterday and they replaced the bolt without hesitation. I still have the factory powertrain warranty.
